As Promised...

Mark's first week with his new camera has been a ride. He took right off with it. He didn't want or really need a lot of help. One piece of guidance he did need. Direction. Once he got that he was off and running. He took a lot
of pictures
of his Grandpa. Who can blame him. Grandpa is very photogenic. This is but a very small sample of Grandpa pictures.
He took quite a few of Jason and I. This is about the time he figured out, Say Cheese. Now he says it every single time he takes a picture. Oh how I wish we had remembered to turn on the flash for this picture.

He has taken not less than 20 pictures of me. It feels kind of odd having the shoe on the other foot here. I have to say I do like to be the one behind the camera better.

There. That's better. The reverse of the one I posted of him the other day.
He even let Mommy use his camera once. And only once. Because as he so elequently put it, it's rude to use other people's cameras. I can get on board with that. I sure don't want him putting his grubby little patties on my camera.
Have a great weekend!

Awww, it was so fun to see all of Mark's pictures! They were great! I have to say it again, I love his haircut, he looks like such a grown up little boy, and sooo cute, as usual :)

How cute. I have been contemplating the idea of getting my boys cameras for Christmas. Although I didn't think about the fact that I would be on the receiving end of this whole thing, I do like being the one behind the camera much better. I was thinking about how much more involved they can be on our nature walks and such. I may have to rethink this for a bit and get them cameras in another year or so. Hmmmmm.....

LOL! How sweet! He's doing good. But when are you going to let him take funny pictures of his sister???? I know that camera has funny hair and goofy eyes that he can put on her! You're being a good parent and not getting that started .... but he will discover it sooner or later! ; )

Cute pics he got there!

"It's rude to use other people's camera" - LOVE.IT. Smart little man. If they weren't so doggone expensive I might think it was less rude. My son's always trying to hijack mine to do stop motion or photo journals that fill up my memory card - and he's got his own (my old one). Just wait til yours figures out that your camera is waaaayy better than his :P

He's doing really well! When handed the camera in the past -- I took a bunch of waist-level shots (that's how tall I was).

He's darling!

Blessings,
Lacy

He's such a cutie pie. I wouldn't want his grubby little patties on my camera either. :)
