If you have never noticed I am an observation sort of person. I go through my life noticing things. So here for you my observations from this last weekend.
1. Weather in the 40s feels much colder when you are going down rather than up. After a whole week in the 60s it feels very chilly today.
2. It's very convenient to have an entire store dedicated to speciality cheeses located between our house and my parents. It's even better when they stop on the way here. Its even better than that when they leave some here at my house just for me. Yay!
3. I forgot what clean windows look like. They were really grimy. But after an afternoon spent on a ladder they are sparkly and clean.
4. It's nice having a Dad with all the cool toys. Like battery chargers. Thanks Dad for getting our tractor running.
5. The first five minutes after Grandma and Grandpa pull out the the driveway are the hardest of the whole weekend.
7. The height at which a 4 year old takes pictures is not the most flattering angle.
8. I am not upset that Easter vacation is over. Neither is Mark. So excited to go to school this morning.
Expect pictures from Mark's new camera later in the week. He is beyond excited that his pictures get to be on my blog.

I am excited to see Mark's pictures! My little cousins have the vtech kids cameras and just love them :) I totally know what you mean about special people leaving. Yesterday we were at my parents and after playing for most of the afternoon, my sister and her fiance were getting ready to go do some studying at Barnes and Noble and Phee made them sit down on the couch with her right in between them she says "laura come and Tony come" (it sounds like Wawa dumb Tony dumb, too cute!) and then she told my sister "coat off" as she was trying to take it off of her. She was doing everything in her power to get them to stay, so precious. :)
Didn't mean to sign anonymous, my fingers were faster than my brain and I clicked the wrong dot, whoops!
My oldest has a similar camera (in pink though, of course) and seeing things through her eyes and from her perspective is so interesting.
Awww! The first five minutes really are tough.
Aww, how sweet. I remember crying for miles down the road each time we left Nana and Papa's (leaving Owego - no less - Coolest Small Town in the USA). I think I was crying for Nana mainly. ; )
That picture of the violas is awesome!!! Dlyn should watch out ... she's got some competition in the photo field. (Not that mother and daughter would be competitive or anything.)
You must feel honored to be a descendant of one that was raised in Owego, New York! I think coolness is hereditary! ; )
PS - now that he has one of those cool kid's digital camera's .... I want to see a picture of Anna with a pirate patch on her eye! ; )
A budding young photographer...excellent!
I am pretty excited about Mark's pictures being on your blog too!
Can't wait!
Looking forward to seeing pics that Mark takes. And I totally agree on the 40 degrees seems colder when the temps go down as opposed to going up. And on a final "observation" - what happened to number 6 on your list?
Ok so I'm not that observant.
Can't wait for the Mark pics!
Yes, 40 is feeling cold these days...brrrr:(
Grandma and Grandpa cry just a little too. We have to console ourselves with an extra long cocktail hour when we get back home.
