He can be taught

One of my biggest fears is one of my kids will get lost in a public place and they won't be able to find me or me them. I have been working with Mark to over come this fear. We have been doing our address and my cell phone number. As a result of life in a busy house with two small kids, I haven't really talked about it with him in about a month. The last time I did he wasn't in the mood and didn't want to listen. He felt he couldn't possibly learn anything from me, his mother. I am too dumb to teach anything. Life with a toddler is kind of like life with a teenager I think. Anyway, we were playing yesterday. All of the sudden he started saying my phone number over and over. I didn't think he knew it. Turns out he was paying attention and he has a memory like a steal trap. He got it right on the first try with no coaxing from me. Amazing. It was a very proud mommy moment. He can learn.

Pictures later.

Oh just wait. You and hubby will have a conversation about a friend. It will not be unkind. Something funny this person may have done. And laughing one of you might say "So and So has no sense."

Next time Mark see this person, he will say Mommy and Daddy said you have no sense.

Good times!!!!

They sure do pay attention, even if they pretend not to. :)

Thank you for the visit and comment about the sky. I love your sky shots. And you have a wonderful looking family.

Yay! He'll continue to amaze you as time goes on. Being cute is only an added bonus. :)
